The Holyoake HFS is a motorised fire, combined fire and smoke, and air/smoke/exhaust damper for rectangular ductwork. It impedes the spread of fire and smoke through ducted air systems while maintaining barrier integrity, and is compliant with the New Zealand Building Code Clause C3 and the National Construction Code of Australia.
The HFS is self-contained, spring-return actuated, and features a patented sealing system that delivers superior fire and smoke leakage performance in a single installed unit — suitable for fire duty, smoke duty, or combined fire and smoke duty.
HFS Fire Rating and Compliance
HFS fire and smoke dampers have been tested in accordance with AS 1530.4:2014 and AS 1530.7:2007, meeting the leakage integrity requirements of AS 1682.1:2015. In fire rating tests, the HFS demonstrated exceptional integrity for up to four hours, achieving a Fire Resistance Rating (FRR) of –/240/–.
Smoke leakage performance meets the ISO 10294-1 ‘S’ Classification. The HFS is compliant with the Australian National Construction Code and the NZ Building Code Clause C3.
