Acutherm TL Mechanical Thermal VAV diffusers are linear ceiling diffusers with built-in temperature controls and VAV damper. The damper blades open and close, metering airflow into the room in response to room temperature. The damper is mechanically positioned by a thermostat/actuator that is both room thermostat and damper motor.
